I’m an experienced, fully DBS checked workshop leader, and can offer workshops within schools, colleges, and theatres. I’ve worked with groups aged 6-86 years old! As a facilitator, I can either deliver workshops based on the topics below, or, tailor it to what members are currently working on, i.e a play in your school curriculum. Workshops I offer:
- Queer Theatre for beginners – This workshop is designed to engage members with queer etymology, dramaturgy, and the opportunity to create their own work inspired by contemporary queer artists. This can be adapted for teenagers & adults
- Devising Theatre – Using a chosen stimulus or theme, devise your own stories using exercises & games
- Performance Skills: characterisation, improvisation, projection, etc.
- Approaching texts: Looking at performance preparation using texts, including note taking and analysis
